Facing death at bullet point

How many PowerPoint presentations have you endured? How many presentation agendas have you vainly scanned in the hope of finding something interesting? How often have you watched the back of a presenter's head as he doggedly repeats bullet points you could have read without his help?

And - given the agony of these amateur-night performances - how many times have you made exactly the same mistakes yourself?

In Clear and Present we'll be looking at these mistakes - and often coming up with suggestions that might surprise you.

Who should attend?

Clear and Present is aimed principally at presenters who need to make a compelling case to their audience. It's non-technical in nature, though we will touch on a few PowerPoint tricks to help things along.

If you make, plan or build presentations, then there's something here for you.

Presentation workshop

The afternoon is an open-ended session that gives you the chance to work on your own presentations.

Our team of designers, presentation builders and presenters will be there to help you with technical questions, structural issues, design improvements, presentation techniques or any other of the one-to-one points that you might want to raise.

Book your place

Places at the seminar are charged at £45.00 + VAT or £40.00 + VAT per person when booking two or more delegates.

A pro forma invoice will be sent to you on confirmation of your booking.

Zombies and robots don't make good presenters. So why does so much of presentation training concentrate on turning you into one? People do say 'er' and 'um' occasionally; they even (horrors!) scratch their heads from time to time. If you're comfortable with learning your lines with Shakespearean dedication, and you can ignore an itch without your eyes watering, then bully for you.

But we humans lack your fortitude, and we can't do it. And do you know something? It doesn't matter.

We'll help you to be effective by being yourself.

You may never have thought of yourself as an entertainer. But that's what a successful presenter has to be.
